Westview Medical offers a number of vaccinations that we can administer during your visit. This includes:

Childhood immunizations

Tetanus vaccine (Adacel)

Pneumonia vaccine (Pneumovax)

Tuberculin Skin Test (TB Skin Tests)*

We also can administer other vaccinations (e.g. shingles vaccine, vitamin B12, etc), but these must be prescribed and picked up from the pharmacy or health unit before your visit.
Immunization Records
Our office has an electronic copy of the Personal Immunization Record "yellow card" that we can print out for you. After each vaccination, we fax these copies to the Health Unit to update your record in their system.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has recently launched Immunization Connect Ontario (ICON), a secure online system for reporting immunization information or obtaining a copy of your immunization record. You will need an Ontario Health Card with the Stock Control number (on the back of the health card).
Flu Shots 2024
Flu shots will be available as per the Thunder Bay District Health Unit availability, which often is mid October.
COVID-19 Vaccines
We no longer offer Covid 19 Vaccines in our office. If you are needing a Covid 19 vaccine, please contact the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.
